description | Space and space frequency Imaging of acoustic sources deals with the far field generated by various noise sources . If for moveless sources such a problem is strictly related to spectrum analysis, it deals in fact for moving sources with the so called joint (or conjoint) representations such as time and frequency (space and space frequency) representations . Dealing with inertial sources (constant speed and linear trajectory) the Wigner-Ville representation enables an easy derivation of such an imaging technique . Positive Deconvolution taking into account a priori informations is able to increase the angular resolving power, and suggests to locate the "bright spots" (or highligths) related to the center of phase of the emitted waves . |
